Definitely not as hard as it looks.
I know it's not the same kit but I just installed Easy Streets front and rear kit on my buddies S-10 and we did it in a weekend. Just make sure you have the appropriate tools on hand before you start and it won't be hard at all. Make sure you have a cutting tool (die grinder with a cut-off wheel, sawzall, plasma torch). Have a couple of freinds handy to help lift off the bed (2 or 3 minimum). Use your common sense and follow the directions for the kit (measure twice, cut once). I for one, don't let anyone work on my truck if I can do it myself. I installed my rear 4 link and panhard airbag system myself and installed the notch. Just my .02 cents.
