I'm assuming your rig is a 4x4, in which case you can go with the 285/75R16's on stock rims and it should be no problem. I have 285/75R16 BFG A/T's on stock rims on my '96 Z-71 and they fill the wheel well nicely. My truck is stock height, and doesn't appear to have the torsion bars cranked. The only thing that bothers me about the setup is the backspacing on my stock rims (wheels tucked in abit too much)- gonna get some 16 x 8 589 Eagles and fix that soon.
