Re: Chassis Tech?

Examples of shAIM parts. lowered my 1999 ford(I know a ford) dually with their kit, front drop beam was had way to much camber in it, and stuck out the fender well, called told them the exact measurments, waited 2 weeks for it, paid for it, again, put it on, same thing, measure both out, same beam no mods, called raised hell got nowhere, send it back restock fees, and special build, cannot return when it was the same thing. Ordered compressors for the truck and put it on bags, compressor kept blowing out the relays, check all wiring, nogo, same thing, swap compressors around, it blew out the other relay that was working, called sent it back to thim on my dime, they said it tested fine and did repeated test and are going to ship it back to me, wrong, they have the specs on what the compressor puts out on the net, so while on the phone with them I was checking, lying fools said it did more cfm than the comp could put out and also stated it filled the tank faster than it could to there specs, cant remember the exact numbers but no way that comp could do in in the time, went out and tested the good one and they just didn't match up. The rear 4 link bars were too long to fit correct, had to chop down rethread them, the brackets didn't line up, the axle cups had to be cut out wider for the dually rear end instead of the 1/2 ton axles. had to go into the switch box and tighten all the wires down, had to order extra air line, the bags are thin compaired to the other bags on the market. truck number 2: installed drop spindles for a friend that bought the kit, had to clean the bearing mounts for the hubs, to thick and rough, had to enlarge the baljoint holes to fit. truck number 3: chevy s-10 not a damn thing mounted up right, had to redrill brackets, the notch was a piece of chit, tried to put it together roughly to see how well it would fit wrong, nothing lined up, cut my own, the link bars again to long, same problem with the spindles, bag mounts had to be modified to fit nicely, and a compressor quit working 2 days after install, motor locked up. switch box a couple of the swithces wouldn't hit, had to open up and replace them, he decide to run the manifold style vallves from them and one solinoid blew the plunger out of it at 75psi, had to rethread it, was stripped from their assembly before we got them. I would cancel and send the crap back and look into some of the other places, even if they cost you a 100 out of pocket.
