Re: Chassis Tech?
My experience I have 2" drop spindles on my 88 from AIM and they have been on there for over 5 years no problems. I have 3" drop spring on my 69' from them and no problems either after 5 years. I also got a front bumper for the 88, it was a good deal but did need some finish work. I have been screwed only once by AIM. I bought some 150 PSI Digital Gauges. They ended up being the 300 PSI model and hence did not read correctly, so I called and spoke with Harley, he said they accidently sent out the wrong sending units so call him back in a day or two and see if they had any in yet. So I called back and he says "Well actually you'll have to send back everything we can't just send out sending units to you. Send us back everything and then we will send you a new kit" Hell no it's already installed I said I'll think about and call him back. SO I call back two days later and ask for Harley. Rep says "Harley doesn't work here anymore." "WTF" I say. "yeah he quit on Friday," rep says. I ended up selling the **** on Ebay, as it turned out they should work for someone runnin over 160-300 PSI. So if you like 75% customer satisfaction go to AIM.
