my experiance is that a 82 buick riviera with a 307 will run through mud 9" deep as long as you keep the filter dry and your folks don't find out what you did with the family car... that said your dodge should be fine but check your area out, mud hides stuff that only your truck will feel. if you don't feel safe try some kiddie pools and work up , all experiance is good, regardless of the outcome!
