Wow..what a thread. I'm doing some research for my next family vehicle and was/am thinking of a 2000 'Burb but now I'm rethinking my decision. Then I'll to a Ford site and I'm sure I'll read a bunch of problems with Ford also. Currently I have a Ford that has been a huge headache so that's why I wanted to go with Chevy but damn this piston slap problem.

Oh well, I'll keep reading. Thanks for all the information and keep it up it's good to know this stuff while trying to buy a new vehicle.
