[Redecks]

I don't know if it's been covered or not, but I've got a few cracks and chips in the factory paint on my 1991's dash in different places. I'm going for the factory look so I suppose just something like the Krylon Fusion would work, but would I have to sand the plasic down due to those blemishes in the old plastic before painting? I've seen that you mentioned adhesion problems with that sort of paint, but would sanding the textured layer off the plastic help the rattle can paint to hold without chipping? This would be my first venture into painting anything, so, sorry if I sound a bit uneducated in this field cause...I am. lol. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
