I've got a '95 K1500 w/ the 10 bolt & 373's. I replaced the rear end at 73,000 miles (3 years ago), and it just grenaded again last night. I hoped it'd last more than 33,000 miles.

I don't want to keep putting the same crap in there and having it go to hell. Who can afford that?!!?

My question is: What can I put in there instead? Did the light-duty (6 lug) 2500's use heavier gears? Is there a 14 bolt, 6 lug axle? I've never seen one. HELP!
