Did you replace those gears yourself or have it done? Most falures are due to improper pinion shaft pre-load. If you go with a Richmond HD gearset, weld the axle tubes to the housing, use a C-clip eliminator kit, custom aloy axles, use a bearing support cover or billet bearing caps (these caps will need to be line bored), you will not have this proiblem again. I have a 7.5" 4.56 drag truck with a 525 HP & 580 ft/lb 406 and a 700-R4 tranny.
