My '05 Chevy Mirror didn't come with the Dim, Compass and Temp. I would like to add a mirror to it. It is a Windshield mount mirror. I also noticed that most of the used ones only come with 6" Pigtails. Will that short of wires be a problem?

I don't know as to weather the wiring is in the headliner or Not, and what wiring is in place to the sensor. But I will be adding cab running lights, and a console. I would like to install a Long console with homelink.

I would like to get this all done at once as I have to drop the headliner for the Running Lights.

Anyone with a guess as to what wiring I might have? I bought the plane Jane Dmax, because that was the only one I could find with a Reg. cab, and 8' Box 4x4. Now the upgrades will have to be done.
