yes, all 1999-2006 throttle bodies used the purge line to heat
the throttle body. this is a necessary item in 40° or colder
temps with humidity above 25%. itll prevent icing. other
than that, rip it.. who needs 220° inlet air?

a simple tube is placed in the hoses going to the throttle body.
this prevents heated collant from heating the throttle body
in turn heating the incomming air.
remove engine sight cover
remove air inlet tube to throttle body
remove throttle body from studs
pinch both lines going to throttle body
remove lines from throttle body
connect coolant lines to bypass tube (use existing clamps or
wrom gear clamps)
make sure the lines are secure
release line restrictions
reinstall trhottle body
reinstall air inlet
reinstall engine sight cover
tools needed:
flat-blade screwdriver
10mm socket and ratchet
pliers or needle nose pliers
2 pair visegrip pliers or girling tools
30mins
