96 Ext Cab
Please only questions if interested in the truck. Reasons for selling are personal.

1996 Chevy Silverado Ext Cab. Vortec 5.7 auto, power windows, locks, mirrors, driver’s seat. Leather. Light Autumwood metallic. 123,800 miles (as of 6/14/2006). Lowered 4/5, rear can be lowered to 6” in a matter of minutes. Front drop is done with 2” drop coils and 2” drop spindles. Rear is lowered with 4” drop leafs and 2” drop shackles set to 1” (set to 2” and you have a level 4/6 drop). Doetsch shocks all around and less than 1 year old. 18” Weld Evo Velocity 5’s with Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires, 255/45VR18’s. Trac Top bed cover allows you to use the bed without having to remove a cover and can be locked for security along with a locking tailgate. Motor modifications include a K&N FIPKII intake w/TB spacer, twin 14” electric fans with a 180* temp switch, Wait4Me performance turned computer, Gibson stainless steel headers, full duals with Flowmaster 50 series mufflers, tips are 4x22 Silverline stainless steel angled at the corners. New roll pan with chrome Chevy bowtie frame that has a built in tag light. Line of Fire 60” LED bar mounted between the roll pan and tail gate. New stainless steel bed cap. Is wired with a 4-pin trailer towing harness but no hitch installed. Diamond Halo headlights, diamond parking and corner lights. Headlights and parking lights are Silverstars. Tail lights have been replaced with stock style and have no cracks, fading, or hazing. Hand cut stainless steel grill insert. Recent work included new 140 amp alternator, upper and lower intake manifold gaskets replaced along with new valve cover gaskets. Cooling system was flushed with a new 195* thermostat installed. Mobil 5000 oil also replaced at that time. New cap and rotor also installed. Ceramic front brake pads and new rotors installed last August. 4L60E transmission is all stock and fluid was replaced last at 100K. 3.42 rear differential is also stock and fluid was also replaced at 100K. All four O2 sensors were replaced around 100K. Normal routine maintenance was performed regularly. Records available. Red Top battery is about 2 years old. Truck runs strong with no mechanical problems. As it currently sits, the truck gets 16+ MPG in town driving with 50+% A/C in use. Have no recent highway trips, but should get 20-21+ MPG highway at posted limits and cruise in use. Truck is daily driven and handles heavy traffic well; temp needle never reaches even straight up on the gauge. Alt charges system at 14 volts, even with fans and A/C running. Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo. A/C recently serviced.

This truck originally had a conversion package on it which consisted of fiberglass full length running boards and top mounted bed rails. Those have been removed, but the mounting holes are still there. Most are very low on the body line and are not even noticed by anyone but me. Can't even see them in the pics.

This is the original paint and still shines extremely well for its age. Minor scratches and some dings here and there, but not typical of a 10 year old truck. Sold as is. Truck is located in Summerville SC, just outside of Charleston SC. It is also list in the SC Auto Trader.
