damn and i just went down to home depot payed $30 for 2 rolls (30 sq.ft) of "frost king" 1/8" thick aluminum backed self adhesive foam duct insulation to do my doors+backwall/back pillars....
worked great, no outside noise anymore besides a very low wind noise, which seems to be coming from around the mirror/or door weatherstripping). ill have my stereo at 23 (out of 31) volume setting, will be loud enough so you can barely yell to the person on the pass seat and as soon as i get out and shut the door, the music sounds like its barely on..
although i have to shut my door a with a little more force now or it dont latch completly.
