I did the same thing as you, with the intake and tbi adapter plate. I used the Performer RPM intake as well for a carb then put the Holly adapter on. As far as I remeber the thread is 3/4 for the heater core .. I used some brass pipe fittings and some solid line with a flex in it for my brake booster.
