I can't stress this enough either! Melt rubber or plastic all of them , I don't care, just make sure they are sealed. If you do any type of offroading through water or if you wash your truck , nothing will piss you off more to see water built up in your headlights. Sealing them up is probably the hardest part about this retro, ESPECIALLY if you love to splash through water.
