i don't know of any boks that tell you the little things to look for when you are looking at the trucks or parts. things like.

the difference between 69-70 and 71-72 front fenders is the 69-70's the motor badge is unde the model trim and the 71-72 it is under the side marker light.

on cabs 68-70 have a spot formed for the rear view mirror to screw to the 71-72 are smothe because the mirror glues to the windshield.

67 had no side marker lights or reflectors. 68 was reflectors only 69 reflectors. lights optional. 70 on had lights.

in the dash no c10 c20 or c30 had a factory vacumn gage if there is one the dash came out of a big truck with vacumn breaks.you will find this mostly on the factory tach trucks that some one made up.

up thru 72 all the alt. were on the drivers side with a short water pump.

thru 70 c10 trucks had 6 bolt wheels and drum breaks. 71 first year for 5 bolt wheels and disc breaks.

72 doors where the only oones to have a screw in the top of the door under the windwing.
