From what I've seen, I don't think a person can go wrong with CF, RR, or SD. All three of those are great, and loaded with functions. There's many others I've played with, and liked, but the support is always going to be better with the big 3. Personally, I always thought FrodoPlayer was cool, but the support has gone to zero on that.
Another thought on the front ends is that I might switch to RoadRunner, just for the simple fact that the Fusion Brain (
http://www.fusioncontrolcentre.com/F...alog/index.php) is setup to run with RR. This little item is something I want to get integrated into the system as soon as possible to replace my HVAC controls, lighting, amp power, and a few other items! I've talked to the guys who developed this, and they were very supportive of letting go of source code or working with someone on developing stuff with them, and they provide the needed documentation for developing your own wrapper for control of this!
