While the mud was drying, I used a heat gun and pulled the plastic cap off of the tailgate. Welded up the holes, ground the weld down and filled it with fiberglass.

The glass will be topped off with plastic filler.

GMPP TBI to Vortec intake bored to 51mm. 7.4L TBI and fuel pump.( Ben Riggs chip) Built 4L65E deep pan, with temp gauge. 1999 Cadillac Escalade 5.7L Vortec, (383 in the future)
