I put Herculiner in the bed of my truck and it made a huge difference. My mufflers are right under the bed and was so loud in the cab. I did the herculiner not expecting it to be a sound deadener, just to protect the bed. I was so surprised how quiet it was i went and got more to do the floor and back wall. It helped so much. I used a roller and made it as smooth as possible. Which i would suggest thinning it with acetone i think is what they suggested. Now i have a layer of Fatmat Rattle Trap and then foam on top of the herculiner. My 350 TBI with no cats and flowmaster 40's sounded like it was in the cab with me before now it sounds like a four banger when i sit in it.
