Re: How much power can stock injectors handle
400 natuarlly aspirated hp and 400 firce inducted hp use very different amounts of fuel. The 199 pph popets may flow enough for 420-430 NA hp but may not be able to feed 370 hp with a blower. When using boost you use more fuel than when making the power NA.

Of course it will work, thats what Whipple designed their blower kit for. Whipple owuldnt make a kit that didnt work. Having 8 actual injectors firing at teh back of the intake valve is much better than having 2 extra fuel injectors firing into the intake manifold. Cylinder to cylinder distribution of mixture is poor when compared to 8 individual port fuel injectors.

I'm sure a PCM tuner would be able to work some magic as well over the stock PCM tune for sure. STock is leaving lots on the table.

Tuning with a wideband would help zero in on safe power production.

You are travelling down a road that many have travelled, you will reach the limitations of the stock Vortec injection. You need 8 larger port fuel injectors for ultimate L31 power.

Talk to Boosted Z71, is a Marien Intake user that has went through the extra 9 and 10th injector scenario.

Obviously you have to play to pay.
