Limp mode is a saftey built into the Allison. It kicks in when there is too much stress on the tranny. It will say "shift range inhibited" on you DIC. You will not be able to go over 2000 RPM's, and more than likely you will only have third and reverse gear.
On topic: I have the Banks Six-Gun w/PDA. I think it's the best thing since sliced bread.
