Docs note. I got one for the shield, but havent have the loot to tint it yet.
So f***'em. When they pull you show them the affadavit signed by your optometrist. If you gotta go to court, you'll win, everytime.
Docs note must be updated every 2 years, and kept in the vehicle that the tint exemption applies to. I also have a copy of the section of the law that shows I'm exempt. So if they try to dik me I can prove to them I'm legal. And use the text DIRECTLY from their website.
Fine is SC is $440 for tint violation. More than likely reduced when you go court. Then retint, but gotta watch it. ONLY, and I mean ONLY State Troopers will get you for tint. I've been hassled by local cops with windows all the way up (2.5 sides, 35 shield, 2.5 over 20 on rear) and they didnt even look twice at the windows.
