Huh, I've never heard of a 302 lasting for any length of time without oil pressure. As a matter of fact, my Ford friends have to run alot of oil pressure in their 347 strokers to keep them alive.
The bolded part is more what I was talking about. I have a friend who was actually trying to kill his 305 with nitrous, and he gave up before the motor did.
