i could be wrong but i think the hydraulic clutch setup was in 85 and up maybe 86 and up this is a simple swap we did my buddies truck in like 5 hrs tranny and all as for if it was a 6.2 diesel and ur bolting it to a gas job then yes the bellhousings are the same
