Yup... It's been a few years since I was involved in the full-size GM stuff (had a 96 4x4 Suburban), but now I'm back again.
I've really needed a pick-up for quite some time now, so I bit the bullet and sold my 99 TransAm
and after looking for a few weeks I bought a 2WD 4.8L 2003 Silverado RCSB today.
I'm the second owner and the truck just rolled over 100K. I have plenty of experience from these Gen III engines, since I've owned LS1 F-bodies all the time for the past 6 years. A couple of them had well over 100K miles, so the miles on the truck don't scare me at all.
Especially since I think I got a pretty good deal on it.
The truck is in pretty good condition with just a few scratches here and there. Most of the will probably buff off, too.
I've already been shopping for all kinds of stuff for it, but we'll see.
