well if you get the transgo hd2 shift kit you will get harder/quicker shifts but a transmission rebuild will be in order soon. A good cheap and easy upgrade would be the corvette servo(under 20 bucks) if you do plan on getting a shift kit get a transgo sk or superior shift kit. If you will be rebuilding soon get the transgo hd2 kit. I installed the transgo hd2 kit in my 4L60e at around 20,000 miles. 23,000 miles later I busted the sunshell in it. Had to get the transmission rebuilt. it was not cheap. the HD2 shift kit is brutal on the 1-2 shift.
