Greetings
Hey all,

In 1992, my cousin bought a K1500, and him and I have hung out in it ever since, partying and developing memories. As time went on, he became married, got other cars to accommodate his family, and I saw the truck less and less.

I've spent the past4 years trying to buy it from him, to no avail, until 2 months ago. He decided to move to Florida, and knew the truck would not be going with him. After sitting in his driveway for a year, I grabbed it up.

It's got 140k (well, that's what the odom says at least, but I know better). It's even decent shape considering, and I'm excited about the work that I'll be putting into it over the next months and hopefully years.

First up are tires and a tune-up, along with new exhaust to quell the recent issues that I just learned about this morning.

I'm not a very good mech by any means, but I'm so eager to learn and put some blood and sweat into this baby. I apologize in advance for any dumb questions I ask. It's tough having a vehicle like this in New York City, but I've always been known as an urban redneck, and this truck is right up my alley, regardless of how much gas it uses.
