I had the same sub in a downfire enclosure in a center console setup before the current box, but did not work well, due to only having a bit over 2" clearance to the floor... The sub would actually touch carpet, not just muffle output. (granted it's plushy carpet on the hump there) |
How is that possible? 2" clearance, 12mm xmax...
