We were doing the work at my dad's garage since both of my bays are kinda occupied. Got the truck down there at about 8:30. Didnt make alot of friends on the 15 mile ride at about 25 mph, lol. 94Yukon met us there and we got to work. Everything was going pretty smooth until we got to the torque converter. Ended up having to cut the bolts. Never seen that before. Once we finally got through all of them we started putting everything back together. Finally got it all reassembled, put fluid back in the T case and trans. Started it up, let it rrun for a bit to circulate and fill up the converter. Tried shifting and nothing.
Bye this point it was about 3 am and we called it there. He's going to do some trouble shooting today.

The guy who did my rear-main seal cross-threaded the TC bolts.

Man that sucks. I thought I would be the only one in history to have to cut them off!
Is there tension on the shifter column? I panicked because I didn't have my bracket and clip installed to hold it in place. Be sure you have that. I doubt the pump is bad.
