i love my dewalt, very tough and plenty of power.
I like the makitas but they ont seem as durable as dewalts, very light tho. The way I see it, the dewalts are heavier but better durability. I have dropped mine plenty and its still runnin great. A guy I used to work with bought that makita 18V Li-Ion and dropped it once from holding it waist high, abd it never worked the same again. It was loud and wasn't nearly as powerful
