The injectors do give you a bit more power. Our injector as NODIH discussed earlier are maxed out on our motors, even if you leave them stock. THe LS1 injectors gave me a bit of a boost right off, with a little computer tune you should be able to tell. I never ran mine without a tune but you still may notice some added power. They are a drop in replacement so no check engine light or anything will come on if you do choose to install the Pre-2000 injectors. I beleive they are 24-26lb.

You might try and spray some purple power on the block and let it sit for a bit... or some brake clean. Make sure the engine is cold though. Dont do it while its hot otherwise you might have one hell of a campfire in your driveway.
