What to do?
The tran's (4l60e) in my 98 is probably within a month of kicking the bucket. My truck is used for commercial snow plowing, daily driver, and towing around 7k once in a while. Now my question, is it worth the upgrade to a 4l65e (or maybe an 80e) instead of rebuilding and upgrading my 4l60e? I know nothing about either trans so I'm looking for ideas of which would be better for the job and/or the most cost effective to build.
4l60e?
4l65e?
4l80e?

This is what the trans has to support pushing most of the winter.

9.7ft with the wings on.

And I'd like to get a 20-25ft trailer for hauling atvs and our 1941 JD B tractor and the occasional bobcat.
Thanks 454ss
