My 99 Silverado NBS 2wd 1500 5.3 with the factory tow package has a external transmission cooler. Is it enough to keep things cool towing a 6500 pound 5th wheel through relatively flat terrain?

I have a Derale remote fan cooler that I asked the guy who is installing my 5th wheel hitch to install. He says I don't need it because I alreay have the factory cooler.

Thoughts? Is this not a more/cooler is better situation?
