my uncle's 2003 crew cab short bed 4x4 got 21 hwy and about 17-18city with no mods.
my friends cousin with a 2006 crew cab short bed 4x4 no mods, got 19 city and 23 hwy.
but the power is amazing in the duramaxes. the new ones though dont seem to get as good of mileage due to the low sulfar diesel fuel. that might also affect the older ones as well.
