yea becasue them 5.4s are really well known in the afermarket
chevy trucks offer you an engine thats not just some "truck" motor. whens the last time you went to the drag strip and saw someone with a 5.4 truck motor in there race car lol
not to mention it is the ultimate slap in the face to ford when the joe gibs silverado came with the same amount of boost but only offered it on the smallest v8 chevy offers, why? becasue could you imagine a 6.0 with 8 pounds of boost, chevy just coldnt do it, they would be making more hp than the corvet.
