i haven't used anything but the absorber since i learned how to detail cars at age 17 at a ford dealership ( i know fellas ford right, but hey i was 17 and working) now at 34 i still use the absorber and they last forever! I only buy a new one when i get a new vehicle and i clean it with a powerwasher.
