If it's a Tekonsha electronic brake control (i.e. non-hydraulic) it will have four wires:
White = Ground
Black = 12V power to Brake Control (use a 20a fuse or circuit breaker)
Blue = Brake control output to plug
Red = Trigger wire (activates brake control when you step on the brake pedal). Hook this to the output side of your stop light switch.
