I hear ya on the hot exhaust, no worring about a cat here tho on my 88 OBS
ozone layer, I normally go to NAPA get the filter and Walmart to get my 5 qt. jug of Syntec and them cruise for a half hour or hour os so to get the oil warmed up and it drains faster and I feel like it gets more out, probably just a mental thing but I always change my oil warm to hot.
