If you want to spend a day wood workin you can put regular subs behind it I have two twelves in my regular cab I just built a custom box and they fit great and sound loud as hell just put the amp under the seat and as far as legg room I have no loss cause being 6 foot 6 i need all the leg room its got. But if you decide to stay with shallow i would go sony
