Re: disc brake swap
The brakes are on. I had to drill the rotors to 9/16 of course, and then dremel out the big center hole a little to fit over the hub on the axle. I ended up using 7/16" grade 8 bolts to bolt the speedway bracket to the axle. Should be good to go. The only clearance issue I had was the stickie weights on my wheels. I had to take them because they would hit the calipers where they were at. I will just have to rebalance and stick the weights on in a different area of the wheel. Really pretty easy swap though. My only issue is the front brakes still have air. There is no air at the calipers and no air at the M/C so I'm thinking I need to do a ABS bleed but I can do that tomorrow at work.
