most aftermarket parts are far more durable than stock parts. stock parts are for a lack of better term cheap. they're cheap to help manufactures keep thier cost down. that's why you can replace damn near any factory part with one from the after market. quick example, all after market suspension companies use polyurithane bushings instead of rubber like the factory. why? because, they don't wearout and get squishy like rubber.
i'm not going to comment on ifcustoms work since i've never seen it first hand. i will say this tho, i do question some of it.
as far as airride tech, or airlift, both of those companies make good quality products. if they didn't do you think that the $100k+ street rods would have they're products on them? oh, and no i don't run they're products on my truck, my set up is completely custom fabed, but i wouldn't have a problem using them on my next project(whatever it might be). infact i had originally planned on going with the air ride tech. shock waves and airbar(i think that's what it's called, been a while), but than i decided i wanted a bodydrop so i changed my mind and went with a custom set up.
oh, and i can rail just as much as anyone i just choose not to, because my gas tank hits the ground untill i get my skid plates done.
