I'm wondering why you're going through all of that just to put 305's on an otherwise stock Z-71? I have 305/70R16 MT/R's on my stock 99 Z-71 with minimal t-bar cranking. I had the 305's (AT/S's and MT/R's) on the stock 16x7 rims with NO rubbing and only "minor" rubbing on the left front running 16x8 AR Atlas (4.5" backspacing?) - the wider rim helps the tire fill out more. Now I have no rubbing after running the MT/R's since March - replaced 305 GY AT/S's. I guess I'm just trying to save you some work and $$$.
