yes half tons can fit them stock, but IMO they NEED ford keys at least. hence the two inches.

im not a fan of jamming the biggest tire you can afford into a stock truck. that southern style is fugly IMO and not practicle. on a stock HD you can fit a 295/75 but those tires are alot more $$ than 285's i think
