I just got off the phone with GM. They gave me a 6 year 100K extended warranty on the engine. No hassles whatsoever. They called the dealer I originally took it to a couple days ago to verify it did have engine knock at start-up. They verified my VIN and address and said the paper work should be here in about 3 weeks.
