ok so the super compact models are (right click, new window)
http://www.onboardair.com/pdf/5.pdf

the reg and HD models are (right click, new window)
http://www.onboardair.com/pdf/4.pdf

so comparing the super compact (SC) is just about an inch narrower between the bolt hole sides and overall height is about 1" shorter than the (HD)..

other shell difference with the (SC) is the 3 vs. 4 bolt holes on the (HD)

last thing i noticed is the clutch mounting holes are spaced diff, (HD) is 4.562" x 3.396" the (SC) is 4" x 3.125"

(HD) + (SC) depths are the same.....

anyone see any others differneces?, from the install pics on easy street's site... http://airliftcompany.com/easystreet...540(26910).pdf it looks like there should be room? (idler pulley not shown, placement in figure 8)

now i do think a v-belt routing would be best (pull belt if emergency on the road) a serp belt would mean dinking around with lengths and in emergency not finding a common belt at a shop?

we would need an adjuster for a v-belt though to tighten it up though.. might help out the bearing in the alt by pulling opposite of the serp belt?

if we use/order/buy the new alt pulley, will it make a difference in spinning slower? (alternator-small(2") pump clutch-bigger (6") vs. just using a larger serp belt and moving the york back a bit to match the serp belt system?

LASTLY*** for us DO IT YOURSELFers if we are making our own brackets, it would be better to use the 210 vs a sc209 if we have the space, correct?
