I am sorry if I hurt your feelings J by using the edit button...I thought that is what it was there for. To many acronyms I guess. When I talked to Paul at RCD he said that it did not and that was why you could not run factory rims with it. Maybe he was incorrect, but he seemed very knowledgeable about his product. I am going to call them again tomorrow, so I will double check. As far as BDS and Fabtech being exactly the same, they are in the fact that they are a spindle lift but Fabtech only drops the differential 4" (directly from the mouths at Fabtech) while RCD and BDS go 4.5". It seems the RCD and BDS would put your CV's at less of an angle. I also experienced terrible customer service at Fabtech...has anyone else got this from them? On the other hand RCD was stellar.

Went ahead and called this afternoon. The RCD does not widen the track width on the 99-up trucks. The RCD retains the factoy track width 100%. The 99-up trucks do have a 1" wider track up front than in back from the factory. Maybe this is just more noticeable after the larger wheels and tires. The RCD for 88-98 trucks does widen the track width because of stability issues. Hope this helped.
