I have seen a few posts about them, but not much. Guess I will be the sucker to try them out, I just ordered them!:D I plan on painting them white when I get them, and of course leaving the actual handle chrome.

Also ordered the inside handles, install should be a breeze:D Well, I hope;)

the interior is far from a breeze you have to remove the door panels to get access to them..

Hey, what happen to the rest of your knobs??;) And I have taken the door panel off before to replace a speaker, so that shouldn't be a problem:D
haven't ordered them yet, ran out of funds when I bought the white ac panel.
getting the factory inside handles off will be the hard part, I was looking at them and can't figure out how they attach.

Yeah, and of course I didn't really pay attention to the handles when I had it off before:(

I plan on doing the same thing. Does anyone have the part number for the C3 tailgate handle? Funk, I don't think your dash is quite red enough. I was thinking of doing the same to my dash.

I have the outside handles on my truck. A very easy mod. I didn't have them painted.
Have fun taping the chrome part of the handle off. The chrome part doesn't come off from the bezel.

Actually, it can be done without taking the door panel off. If you remove the trim piece right around the handle, there is enough room to do the swap. Each handle has 3 clips & 1 10mm bolt to hold it in place. Remove the bolt, slide the handle forwards a bit, & use a long, thin flatblade screwdriver to pop the release rod out of place. Snake the old handle out, put the new one in the same way.
Tools used were a 10mm nut driver, & 2 long, thin flatblade screwdrivers. I did all 4 in 30 minuites.:) I used Denali handles, looks like the Escalade gets the same ones.
I've got the Escalade ext. door handles on order, I think they look sweet!
Hope this helps!

Hey Walker, thanks for the tip!!:D:D
I know for sure that on these newer trucks, the door panels are easy as hell to get off, but on the older trucks...(maybe mid to early 90's) they are a little more difficult) Everything is held on by plastic clips. And I really want the ext. escalade handels.

There's a how-to in the tech articles. I believe it's for the exterior handles, but there's removal/install instructions for the inside handles too. =)
