To all that have ordered headers -
We just got word from C.A.R.B. that the engine families that our headers will not be certified for are the following:
2001 - engine family # 1GMXA05.3185
2002 - engine family # 2GMXA05.3185 and 2GMXA05.187
This number is located on the CATALYST sticker on the cover between the grill and radiator. In the upper left-hand corner below the words "5.3 LITER"
These are the engines with the pre-cats just after the stock manifolds. In 2001 they were on the Tahoe and Suburbans - mainly. On the 2002 they may or may not be on any vehicle.
Plese look and verify the number on your vehicle. Send me an email confirming your engine family please.
