97 Overhead Console in 96

Do the 1996's have the right tabs and such to mount a console overhead with minimal effort?

Yup. Same exact console all the way up to at least '02. Mine is out of an '01.

are the wires there to hook it up. i saw the tech article about it but wasnt sure if they were in the 96s
