tinting ?

well im going to get tint soon and i want to know if any of u have 20% or 5%(limo) on your back window and if you can see out of it good at night or is it hard to see out of? let me know what u have any your opinions on tint!\

I have 5% all around on my Caprice and have no troubles seeing, day or night.
I have 5% on the front doors and 5 on top of the factory 25% on the rest of the rear windows on my Yukon, which equates to 1%. Again, no visibility issues day or night.
On my truck I have 5% on the doors and 2 layers of 5% on the back window (0.25%). During the day, no issues. At night I have to roll the windows down if I need to back up, but even back when the truck was a daily driver, I never had any troubles with it.

If you're going from little to no tint to being blacked out, it'll take you a week or so to get totally used to and comfortable with the dark shades, but once you get used to it you'll be glad you went with it.

I just got mine done a few weeks ago. I got 20 on the sides and 5 on the back. It did take me a little time to get used to it. THe sides haven't been any problem at all, but since the back is so dark, it acts like a mirror. When I check the rearview, I can see my dash pretty well and it makes it harder to see behind me. BAcking up at night is alright for the most part, but you just have to be more careful. I usually have my back glass open anyway, so it don't make a lot of difference.

I definately recommend 20 on the sides. I think if I went back and did it again, I only do 20 on the back, but that's just my opinion.

yea i was thinking about 20 all around my truck. In Michigan it is illegal to tint the 2 front windows but oh well getting it done any way. thanks for the input guys i appreciate it.

i have 5% all the way around and I can see day or night even with sunglasses on..

brother on his ranger has 25% with 5% over like Jason does and still can see out

yea i like the look too but im worried about backing up that is my main problem don't wanna be running people over then find out im going to jail cause my tint was too dark. that would not be good!

Yeah, 20 will be safe for sure. I've gotten used to the 5 in the back now, but if you're worried about at night, just go with the 20. It will still look sweet.

well i got my tint done i have 20 on the front window and ext cab window 5 on the back window and on my winsheild strip. it is awesome and i love it probably the best 195 i have spent yet. next mods going big with the rims! thinking 22'd for right now but i want 24's not sure.
